Dragon Age Inquisition Pc Digital

In our review of last year’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, we called the game “almost too big for its own good.” The game offered tons of loot to find and equip, but keeping your party geared up could be a bit of a chore. At the same time, this aspect made the multiplayer a ton of fun.

Now EA is making sure that more PC gamers get a taste of what there is to offer in Dragon Age: Inquisition by offering a free trial of the game through its Origin service. The trial will allow gamers to play through the first six hours of the single-player campaign, which is more than enough to see if it will tear you away from The Witcher 3.

The kicker is that this trial also allows unlimited access to the game’s multiplayer. In this mode the combat is similar to the single-player variant, but you’re only controlling one character in a four-player co-op dungeon crawl.

EA isn’t doing this simply out of the goodness of its heart, of course. Like other recent multiplayer titles from EA, Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s multiplayer includes microtransactions in the form of packs of random items. If you get hooked on the multiplayer, chances are decent that you’ll end up buying a few of these.

There’s also the possibility that you get hooked on the story and decide to pay up for the full game. If you do, your progress from the trial will carry over, so there’s no need to replay the opening hours.

If you’ve been interested in Dragon Age: Inquisition but never got around to checking it out, there probably won’t be a better time than now. The Origin page says that this free trial is available “for a limited time,” but there is no word on just how limited that time is.

You’ll need an Origin client and account to get started, which you can find, along with the trial, on the Origin website.

Review title of Girthy Big MacGreat Story, Disappointing Side Narratives

The main story is great, it has ALMOST everything we've come to expect from a BioWare game: great lore, climactic events, and meaningful characters. However, there are not nearly as many meaningful choices in the game, unlike Origins which had PLENTY. Many choices only add operations on the war table, which give the game a larger sense of scale, but make the choices seem nonessential. Grinding through huge areas is fun at first, but quickly becomes a chore with the uninteresting side plots. The only reason I kept exploring was to do companion quests and to kill dragons (which are spectacular boss fights). The characters are very strong, with only a couple of weak characters. Romance in this game is pretty disappointing, the relationships were great, but as a heterosexual male player, there only two characters to pursue.. both still good though. Combat is a lot less tactical then Origins, but more action oriented. Overall, a great improvement to DA2, but not perfect. Still recommend.
