Well I have Laserjet 1536dnf MFP and the scanner doesn t work I have Windows 10. The printer works normally but the scanner just does not work.I've tried everything.Make reinstall, try on other computers, but this scanner does not work on windows 10. while on windows 7 it worked fine.
I'm very disappointed that there is no driver for this scanner. And great disappointment and that there is no support. And actually this week for the firm I'm buying new laptops and I've decide for Dell instead of HP.

Hi,
A scan drver is available for Windows 10..
Do you try installing it through a USB connection to the PC? to the network?
What exact error or behavior you experience while trying to install the software and drivers?
If my post resolve your problem please mark it as an Accepted Solution :)

thats nice. whats the link? this hp website is etremely difficult to use
searching for 1536dnf scanner driver should yield the link to the driver.. not a hundred advice search results like yours, with very few links..
I got a link to a ftp, but using ftp on windows is harcd too.. very frustrating
trying ftp open ftp.hp.com .. prompts me for a password if I try to down the file. What is the ftp password?

Download microsoft visio standard 2013. Hi,
Thanks for using the forum.
How to Scan to Computer
In order to scan from Printer to Computer, you would need to install the Full feature Printer software first.
You can download the software from this link, please select the correct operating system before downloading:
Once you have installed the software,
- Click on the printer Icon (on your desktop) and it will bring up the HP Printer Assistant.
- Under the Scan menu, there is a 'Manage Scan to Computer', click on that.
- Make sure that you 'Enable' the Scan to Computer. Also make sure the tab 'Automatically start Scan to Computer when i log on to Windows' is check if you want to have this feature permanent. (an example is shown below)
Here's a relevant video on scanning that may be of interest to you :

Hope that helps.
• Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or later. Adobe reader 64 bit windows 7 download. • Hard Disk Space: 600 MB of free space required.
Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
